"See No Evil," script by Robert Kanigher, pencils by Joe Kubert (layouts; alterations) and Redondo Studio, inks by Redondo Studio and Joe Kubert (alterations); A blind, mute boy is the sole "witness" of a gangland execution. Once discovered, the gangsters pursue the boy, who finds protection behind the tattered cloak of the Ragman. The trio of hoods are beaten into unconsciousness by Ragman. By the time they recover, the Ragman and the boy are long gone. The boy pantomimes the series of events that led up to his pursuit from the gangsters. Ragman takes the boy, and his cat, to the Rags 'N' Tatters pawn shop, which he operates in his civilian identity, Rory Regan. "The Dream Killers," script by Robert Kanigher, pencils by Joe Kubert (layouts) and Redondo Studio, inks by Redondo Studio; Jeanne Wilson dies of a drug overdose; Her suppliers carry her to a bridge, to throw her body into the river; They are interrupted by the Ragman, who chases them off; Ragman delivers the body to the coroner, then returns home, to the Rags 'N' Tatters pawn shop, which he runs in his civilian identity, Rory Regan; The next morning, Bette Berg, along with a blind, mute orphan boy named Teddy, arrive to gather Regan for a planned outing to the amusement park, Funland. "The Tatterdemalion Of Justice," script by Robert Kanigher, art by Joe Kubert; After vandalizing several tombstones, a trio of men exhume a body; Rolling up the cadaver's sleeve, the men discover a tattoo of a winged angel; Searching the cemetery, the grave robbers locate a winged angel statue, looming over another plot; Once more, the corpse in the grave is exhumed; This casket, however, holds not just a body, but a fortune in jewels; The Ragman disrupts the theft, attacking the three grave robbers. 36 pgs., full color. $0.30. "Junkyard of Death," script by Robert Kanigher, art by Joe Kubert; After discovering over $2,000,000.00 stuffed inside an old mattress, Gerry Regan, and his three friends, are accosted by mobsters; Though the four men are tortured and left to die, under live wires, none of them give up the location of the stolen money; All of them want Regan's son, Rory, to have it, so that he can forge a better life for himself; Rory discovers the four men laying under the live wires, and tries to pull them free; With all five men linking hands, the attributes of the four older men, upon dying, are transferred by the electrical current into Rory, endowing him with above average strength, fighting prowess, and acrobatic skills; Rory's father leaves behind a parting gift to his son, a bizarre costume sewn together from rags, for Rory to wear at an upcoming costume party; Rory, instead, adopts the costumed identity of the Ragman.
