Wally, the apprentice to the wizard Marlin -- and that's Marlin NOT Merlin – is introduced. Wally tries to do all of his duties as an apprentice and also live his life with his friends, Jay and Conrad, figure out who and what Gorg (the scary looking critter that appeared) is and make friends with Princess Penelope. And while doing all of that, Wally has to do a favor for a dragon and save the kingdom from a deadly gigantic mechanical locust created by those villains, Vastar the Vile, Sybilious the Bilious and the wicked wizard Erasmo. When Wally and Marlin venture to the top of Bald Mountain at night to study a moon's eclipse, Wally goes off on his own and comes across the legendary and powerful wand in the stone. Whoever can pull the wand from the stone will have all the power in the world. Much to his surprise and shock, Wally pulls the wand out of the stone and has all of the power but then has big problems in "The Wand in the Stone." But Wally is determined to find a way and rescue the princess. And Vastar and Erasmo and their cronies are discovering that kidnapping Princess Penelope has a down side in "Kidnapped." But after Wally remembers the correct word and makes Sir Flauntaroy disappear, there is the problem of getting Sir Flauntaroy to reappear.
