Set 1 - Includes Amazing Spider-Man Adventures in Reading Giveaway (1991) #1, and Captain America Goes to War Against Drugs (1990 Giveaway) 1990C. These packages were sent to comic retailers in the early nineties in order to inform readers of Marvel's new Pro Bono printing intiative, and announce 2 new charity comics, Amazing Spider-Man Adventures in Reading by Louise Simonson, John Bogdanove, and Hilary Barta with an introduction from Barbara Bush, and Captain America Goes to War Against Drugs by Peter David, Sal Velluto and Keith Williams. Also included are the original press release notes for each book, and a cover letter by Sven Larsen, former Assistant Sales Manager for Marvel Comics.
