    Six enormous plates by the king of pinup, Alberto Vargas (1896-1982). Covering his entire career, these plates are enclosed in a unique tri-fold folder which is also heavily illustrated and provides a comprehensive history of Vargas' life and work by Astrid Rossana Comte (great niece of Alberto Vargas). As you would expect from Taschen, a quality production in every way. If you are a Vargas fan, seeing his work in a large format is a rare treat. 12 1/4-in. x 17 1/4-in., six plates, full color.
