Comic strip and long before anyone had ever even heard of underground comix, Gilbert Shelton was filling Pete Millar's humor magazine, Drag Cartoons, with episodes of his satirical strip, Wonder Wart-Hog. In 1967 these strips were collected into two issues of Wonder Wart-Hog, the Hog of Steel. In this issue, there are 7 WWH strips, plus an illustrated text story "Wonder Wart-Hog and The Amazing Disappearing Baseball Team," and, of course, two new full color covers featuringthe Hog of Steel.
