Art by John Stanley. No. on cover: 10245-912. Choo Choo Charlie and his train first rolled onto the scene in the fabulous 50's as a promotional character for Good and Plenty, a product of Quaker City Chocolate & Confectionery, Inc. Choo Choo Charlies was Good and Plenty's engineer, who fueled his locomotive with Good and Plentys, made appearances in everything from comic books to board games. The cute little character even had his own theme song: Once upon a time there was an engineer, Choo Choo Charlie was his name we hear. He had an engine and it sure was fun, he used Good and Plenty candy, to make his train run. Charlie says: "Love my Good and Plenty, they really ring my bell!" "Love my Good and Plenty candy, don't know any other candy, that I love so well!" Cover price $0.15.
