While skiing at Mr. Lodge's new Timberland Ski Resort, Betty swerves on a downhill run to avoid a rabbit and pitches out of control down the mountain. Reggie tries to write crib notes on Betty's cast, hoping to cheat on the upcoming history test. But his attempt is interrupted by Moose, who has learned Reggie made a date with Midge. Dilton develops a motorized wheelchair so the cast-bound Betty can navigate the Riverdale High halls more easily. But she loses control and plows through the cheerleader squad practice.
