    Dead Folks (2003) 1A
    Published Mar 2003 by Avatar.

Non-Wrap-Around cover edition. by Joe R. Lansdale & Timothy Truman The cult-favorite team of Lansdale and Truman are back together for the first time in years, bringing all the hilarious insanity and violence that made their Jonah Hex series modern classics. Except this time, the kid gloves are off as they deliver more mayhem, death and, of course, zombies, per page than any other book on the market! Wayne is a bounty hunter, but he has the bad luck to be one in the middle of a desert filled with the undead. But he has to bring in his man if he wants to get paid, and the dead folks best get out of his way if they know what's good for 'em. But of course, being dead, they don't. Joe Lansdale's over-the-top dialogue and Tim Truman's crisp lines make this book a must-read for fans of Garth Ennis and Warren Ellis's work, if you're not already a convert to the church of Lansdale! Duel of the Ironclads: U.S.S. Monitor and C.S.S. Virginia at Hampton Roads 1862 HC (2003 Osprey) 1-1ST

1st printing. Written by Angus Konstam. Art by Tony Bryan. When the ironclad USS Monitor steamed out to meet the CSS Virginia on 9 March 1862, the face of naval warfare was changed forever. A four-hour duel left neither ship victorious, but in the wake of the battle wooden warships were rendered obsolete. This book details the clash at Hampton Roads, as well as tracing the development of ironclads within the Union and Confederate fleets. Union ironclads evolved quickly from the time of the production of the Monitor, so that by the end of the war the US Navy possessed the most powerful artillery afloat. The Confederate fleet, meanwhile, was born out of the hulks of existing vessels in naval yards and backwaters within sight of the enemy - its very existence was a tribute to the ingenuity of Southern shipbuilders. Hardcover, 7 1/2-in. x 10-in., 190 pages, Text (with Color and B&W photos) Cover price $29.95.
