A series of increasingly dangerous covert missions reveals the nature of the threat: COBRA. Their first deadly strike against the heart of the nation is only hours away. Will a silent ninja known as Snake-Eyes prove to be an ally... or a deadly foe, when they finally face the gathering storm? Cover by Tim Bradstreet. FC, 48pg $4.95 MORE INFO: "The Cobra: Reborn and G.I. Joe one-shots set the stage for the all-new continuity that is G.I. Joe Reloaded, and this confirms how well it's being received," Blaylock added. "I can't wait until people see what Rieber an his crew have planned next. What Cobra Commander is planning will have major consequences for the entire world." G.I. Joe: Reborn continues the story that began in the in-stock Cobra: Reborn (NOV032245E), which was written by Paul Jenkins (Origin), and was one of the first titles. The G.I. Joe Reloaded event marks the beginning of a new era for the G.I. Joe universe, with the property's characters being relaunched in more of a real-world setting. In addition, the classic G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero series continues to be a brisk seller, and will introduce an original, Aspen, MTL-created villain this June. Cover price $4.95.

Grendel The Devil Inside TPB (2004 Dark Horse) 1-1ST

Dark Horse Edition - 1st printing. Collects Grendel: The Devil Inside (2001) #1-3. Written by Matt Wagner. Art by Bernie Mireault. The spirit of Grendel seethes in the mind of everyone it encounters. A touch of death, of fear, of anger infects all, gripping at the soul, and wreaking havoc on the lives of those in its path. In this now-classic chapter of the Grendel saga, we return to Brian Li Sung, a once-successful Broadway stage manager who became Grendel after losing the love of his life--the granddaughter of the original Grendel, Hunter Rose. Now down and out, living in the slums of Brooklyn, Li Sung struggles as an off-off-off-Broadway stage manager by day; by night, he stews in the hatred and violence that is Grendel, and becomes a cold-blooded killer. When old friends can't help him, and the city can no longer cope with this scourge of destruction, it's up to one desperate cop to stop the murderous rampage, or die trying. Collecting the three-issue miniseries. Softcover, 88 pages, full color. Cover price $12.95.
