Now, Amanda 'Livewire' McKee and her best friend, Faith 'Zephyr' Herbert, are taking it all in for the first time at the one high school where power trumps popularity! From rising star Daniel Kibblesmith (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert) and Eisner Award-winning artist Derek Charm (Jughead), get ready for your first day of school inside a hilarious reimagining of Valiant's award-winning superhero universe - one where the next world-ending cataclysm will have to wait until after prom night! Story and art by Clement Baloup.

Colonialism and war disrupted the lives of millions of Vietnamese people during the 20th century. These are their stories. In his award-winning work, Vietnamese Memories, Clément Baloup chronicles, through vivid painted art and poetic storytelling, the fate of a handful of people who, like many of their peers, were condemned to leave a country successively occupied by the Japanese, the French and the Americans. Leaving Saigon recounts the experiences of Vietnamese citizens who, through different circumstances and different periods, ended up in various parts of France. These stories are testimonials of courage and endurance in the face of turmoil and displacement.

    (see more images)

    1st printing. Cover by J. H. Williams.

This "unique way" was the genesis of the WHERE WE LIVE anthology - a riveting collection of both fictional stories and actual eye-witness accounts told by an all-star lineup of the top talent working in comics today. All the creators have graciously volunteered their time and talent to help bring some sense to this senseless act and, in the process, raise money for the survivors and their families.

The book will include a variety of perspectives with key themes exploring gun violence, common sense gun control, value of a compassionate society, mental health stigmatization, aftermath of tragedy and how individuals and communities persevere, and an appreciation of Las Vegas as a vibrant community. WHERE WE LIVE also features stories from local writers and artists as they relate their personal experiences and reactions to this tragedy. One hundred percent of the proceeds for the WHERE WE LIVE anthology will be donated to an existing GoFundMe campaign for the survivors in Las Vegas.

Painted visions of autobiographical reality swing into experiments with fantasy and science fiction.
