The most unusual story in this issue is a rare Little Nemo in Slumberland strip drawn by Bob McCay, son of original Nemo artist Winsor McCay, in which a teenage Nemo has a fantastic fight with a smoke-eating dragon. The real-life crimes and capture of the Red Keenan Gang are revealed in an early story by Plastic Man creator Jack Cole. Aviator hero Sky Chief tracks saboteurs to stop the destruction of American small planes. Rocketman investigates after an atomic scientist is murdered and his daughter is kidnapped.
