Fighting Hero Comics #12 (1964) was the first fanzine devoted entirely to amateur comic strips. The brainchild of G.B. Love, it served as a companion fanzine to the Rocket's Blast (soon to become the RBCC) adzine he published. Historic significance and features include: Dimension Man classic cover and strip by legendary artist Ronn Foss. Dimension Man was one of the first ama-hero strips ever produced. Created by Foss and Parley Holman in Holman's Spotlite #1 (1961), the character became very popular, showing up in other early fanzines including the original Alter Ego. Ditto printed. Cover price $0.20.
