Connie feels left behind by all her married friends and their families, so when she meets handsome Lennie, she lies about her age to interest him. Bert works in a steel foundry, but Ann gets him a cushy salesman job, only to find he's working with beautiful Peggy, who insists on spending a lot of time with Bert.
