Also includes a map by Resnick "as John Carter told me the story of his Ayathorian Odyssey." A sequel to the Burroughs' Mars novel Llana of Gathol, with permission from the Edgar Rice Burroughs Estate. Resnick wrote this originally in 1962 or 1963 when he was 12-13 years old (!) and had Tarzan going to Mars to help John Carter. In 1965 when Caz offered to publish a novella using ERB's characters, Resnick took Tarzan out of the original story, kept the water and reworked it to make a sequel to Llana of Gathol. 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 24 pages, black and white.
