This issue reprinted Popeye Feature Books (1937) #0, which in turn reprinted stories from the comic strip that introduced the world to Popeye the Sailor. Collects Thimble Theatre daily strips from March to July, 1936. Popeye meets Eugene the Jeep, a mysterious animal with multiple supernatural abilities (that later loaned its name to the US Army's all-purpose vehicle, the jeep). 9-in. x 12-in., 96 pages, B&W.
