This Silent Death This Hostage Earth, script by Stan Lee, pencils by Mike Zeck (breakdowns), inks by Nestor Redondo (finishes); Ben Tucker aspires to become a Marvel Comics creator, which doesn't please his athletic father Mike Tucker; Dr. Doom, in the meantime, is using a hidden satellite to damage the ozone layer; As Solarman, Ben then helps his father against extortionists; Dr. Doom declares to the world only he can stop the ozone layer's destruction and so blackmails the earth requesting an unlimited supply of uranium; Ben goes to Dr. Doom's Beverly Hills mansion pretending he's a student journalist, but Dr. Doom gets suspicious and imprisons him; Turning into Solarman, he busts out, disables the satellite and confronts Dr. Doom. 36 pgs. $1.00.
