Thus it will take a dangerous gamble by Hank Pym to save the day! Go to the ants! Cameo appearances by Dr. Bill Foster and the Black Widow. (Notes: Jack Kirby and Frank Giacoia contributed the drawing of Captain America to the cover. This issue begins Roy Thomas' five-and-a-half-year run as the writer of the Avengers title.
