The comic tells the story of a monster sighting that leads to an education about ecology. An ecologist explains how all animals are part of an ecosystem where each organism relies on the other for its survival as a species. She explains about the various general ecosystems throughout North America like the frozen tundra, Rocky Mountains and desert areas.
