Following a lead of Trench's, the three heroes head to Bjorland, where they again find Cyber, who offers Trench a fortune to betray his allies; Trench takes the treasure Cyber offered and runs, leaving Diana and Ching to fight off Cyber's falcons, as the villainess escapes; They are joined by Reginald Hyde-Whyte who tends to their wounds and takes them to London where Diana loses herself in Carnaby Street and thoughts of romance, while Ching avoids another attempt on his life.
