"Alone Against the Defenders!", script by Len Wein, pencils by Sal Buscema (breakdowns) and Joe Staton (finished art), inks by Joe Staton; Although Doctor Strange, Valkyrie, Nighthawk and the Red Guardian try calming the Hulk down, Hulk thinks they want to hurt him; In response, Hulk attacks the Defenders; Doctor Strange locks him with the unbreakable Bands of Cyttorak; But the Hulk leaps high and on his way down, crashes onto a building almost destroying it; Strange who is knocked out by the strain and the bands disappear; Hulk leaps away but he's followed by the super heroes group; After a couple of blows, they convince the Hulk that they just want to help him. 36 pgs., full color. $0.30. Bruce offers his help but refuses to turn into the Hulk; Druid takes Banner to Yogi's mansion where they are attacked by mercenaries; Hulk "wakes up", defeats them easily, and reaches Yogi, who uses his mental powers to take control of Hulk; Druid does the same thing, and both wizards start battling over the Hulk's control; The Hulk can't take it any longer, and knocks himself out by hitting his forehead very hard on the floor; Cameos by Thor and the X-Men (Cyclops, the Beast, Angel, Iceman, and Marvel Girl).
