Perhaps if one of them could escape, the Avengers' comeback vs. the Conqueror would begin! Cameo appearances by the Human Torch, Mr. Fantastic, Thing, Darkhawk, She-Hulk, Spider-Man, and Wolverine. Flashback cameo by the Wasp to revisit the formal surrender to Kang at the end of Avengers #49. (Notes: This issue includes a 2-page text tribute to mark the passing of legendary Avengers artist John Buscema.
