    Black Knight Exodus (1996) 1

"The Bond" Script by Ben Raab. Pencils by Jimmy Cheong. Inks by Andy Lanning. Cover by Jimmy Cheong and Cam Smith. In this special one-shot, the Black Knight and Sersi try to leave the Ultraverse and return to the Marvel Universe! And their latest attempt finally lands them back on Earth-616; however, in the 12th century instead of the 20th! Sersi is her true self in this medieval era, but Dane has inhabited the body of his ancestor Eobar Garrington! And Eobar has an interesting friend and fellow crusader: Bennet du Paris (aka Exodus)! As Sersi and the knight traverse the Holy Land, Bennet's awesome powers at last manifest themselves! And that leads to the first battle: Exodus vs. Sersi and the Black Knight! And then the second: Exodus vs. Apocalypse! Wow! Can Dane and Sersi avoid becoming collateral damage during the clash of titans? And just escape to the 20th century? Origin of Exodus. First chronological appearance of Exodus. (Notes: This story takes place after the Avengers-Ultraforce Black September crossover event. There is a continuity discrepancy between this issue and the ending of Ultraverse Unlimited (1996) #2. Dane Whitman makes it back home in Heroes for Hire (1997 1st series) #2. Sersi returns in Heroes for Hire #4. Sersi and the Black Knight previously encountered Exodus in Avengers West Coast 101 during the Bloodties saga. Elements of the story briefly overlap with Cable (1993 1st series) #30. This issue was reprinted in 2011 in the hardcover: Avengers/X-Men Bloodties; and again in 2012 in the hardcover: Marvel Premiere Classic Library Edition #82.) 48 pages. Cover price $2.50.
