Kurouzu-cho, a small town on the coast of Japan, is haunted - not by a spirit, but by a pattern: uzumaki, the hypnotic spiral. It manifests itself in seashells, whirlpools, natural shapes, and the hysteria that slowly grips each citizen of the town. As the madness spreads, the inhabitants of Kurouzu-cho are pulled ever deeper into a whirlpool from which there is no escape. Not a horror title in the conventional sense, but it is extremely creepy. 32 pages, B&W.
