First Printing. By Howard Chaykin. Editorial Supervisor Gary Groth. "Transgression is the point. The politics are uglier, the effrontery is a bit more aggressive, and we now have genitals in place of the traditional entrails, but I feel fairly safe in describing BLACK KISS as an EC comic for the jaded '90s: one long gross-out, devoid of serious moral purpose and indefensible to those sniffy schoolmarms who aren't in on the gag. It is a snide anti-valentine from a perennial Bad Boy who, like all good gladiators, seeks only to give the people what they want." -Sam Hamm Softcover, 7 x 11-in, Black and white interior.
