An off-beat ending to an off-beat issue! Everyone in the world is obsessed with Candi Bentar's smash hit song 'Happy to Be Happy'- everyone by Caitlin Fairchild that is! Sensing something is amiss, Cait confronts the pop star and finds out that she's a sentient collective viral consciousness. Surprisingly, the two bond over social and psychological sciences and part as friends. With the meme-song's spell finished, Caitlin meets back up with her teammates and gets in an 'I told you so' which is where this page comes in, ending like a sitcom freeze frame as the issue's credits 'roll' across the panels. Of course, it would be a little much for Bermejo and Nyberg to redraw the same panel six times, so the first panel's image was copied and digitally pasted along with credits on the rest of the page. Pencil and ink on DC Comics art board. 11" x 17".
