A fantastic page from a standout issue! Jervis Tetch, the Mad Hatter, has seemingly died of 'a broken heart' after hearing the news that Alice Pleasance, the object of his obsession, is getting married. Surprisingly, Alice reacts poorly to the death and leaves her groom at the altar. Batman follows and finds Alice in a closed wax museum that houses a gallery of Gotham's rogues! Pencil and ink on DC Comics art board. 11 1/2" x 16 1/2". NOTE: Page displays some moisture damage to the lower portion with some warping and discoloration which is only visible on the reverse.
