An absolutely fantastic cover for this series that parodies the 90s' wave of Bad Girls! Katie Carva grew up reading the adventures of Vampblade, beginning a lifelong love of comics that led to her working in a comic shop. When the store becomes the target of a mob scheme and her manager shot, she grabs some old replica Vampblades to defend herself which turn out to be the real deal giving Katie the powers of her favorite hero! Metcalf does a spectacular job here depicting Katie in full 90's extreme Bad Girl style. Pencil and ink on art board. 11" x 17".
