A bold, powerful image of Swampy from one of the masters of Bronze Age horror! Chan's layout here is fantastic with Swampy rendered in layers of brushstrokes of varying thickness which are singularly mirrored in the various plants and background around him, emphasizing his role as the avatar of the green, encompassing all plant life on earth. The background then falls off about halfway up the page, placing a nice emphasis on the figure and giving the impression that he's emerging from the dense swamp! Signed by the artist.
