In commenting on the second issue of Avengers, Bails sees "Ant-Man in his new role as Giant-Man and Iron Man in a new costume. Personally, I liked both characters the way they were." An article about Blackhawk and Torchy artist Bill Ward, who admits he had a difficult time drawing the hats on the Blackhawks. Listing of comic fanzines received that month.
