An extremely rare piece of movie making history, considered to be one of the first examples of a publication devoted entirely to the art of the motion picture, or "Talkie" as they were referred to at the time of printing. Lavishly illustrated throughout in color, this magazine showcases the extravagance that is the golden age of cinema, presented in an unparalleled art deco style. As this is a preview magazine, not all films featured here made it to the screen, but promotional art was produced and is fully on display here. Examples of films include; "Big Time", "4 Devils", "They Had to See Paris" (First Talkie to feature Will Rogers), "The Cisco Kid", "Salute", and "The Cockeyed World".
