By Ted Nomura and Ben & Joe Dunn. "Schweinfurt." After the "Hamburg Holocaust" initiated by the RAF (Royal Air Force) in July 1943, the USAAF (U.S. Army Air Force) concentrated the main bulk of its forces on attacking Schweinfurt in August and October 1943. Despite the chaos of the German High Command, the Luftwaffe inflicted a heavy toll on the American bombers, which the Americans still believed could bomb without fighter escort. With casualties reaching 1500 in those two raids, the Americans suspended all heavy bombing missions until the spring of 1944, rushing to prepare for D-Day. In this alternate history, the He-280 and the British Mustang prototype are introduced in combat during the October raid and the Luftwaffe, as ordered by Hitler, develops the Me-262 as a fighter-bomber, causing a slowdown of the Allied advance in Normandy and leading to Luftwaffe: 1946. This is the final issue of the black-and-white format, leading into the first issue of the current World War II: 1946 color series. Bimonthly. Cover price $2.99.

Story, art and cover by Ted Nomura. Sometimes listed as Families of Altered Wars #100 or Mens Altered Wars Annual 2002. This issue marks the 100th publication of Ted Nomura's long-running, multi-series Families of Altered Wars saga, beginning with Tigers of Terra and continuing in Luftwaffe 1946 and Tigers of the Luftwaffe. In this alternate-history world, the Axis powers succeeded in extending the war into 1946, allowing artists Nomura and Dunn to create fanciful jet fighters and other aircraft as part of Hitlers Luftwaffe air force. This special issue also includes an overview of the first 99 FoAW issues and some previously unpublished stories from the saga. Nazi Fortress Atlantis; Hitlers Alien Connection; Why E.T. Needs Women; Japans Temple of Death; Allied War Against Israel; Condorcets Angels of Nympho Army II; Families of Altered Wars 100-Issue Guide. In this alternate-history world, the Axis powers succeeded in extending the war into 1946, allowing artists Nomura and company to create fanciful jet fighters and other aircraft as part of Hitlers Luftwaffe air force. Nazi Space Weapons; Koreas Secret War; Japans Suicide Squads against America; Frances Allies of Evil; Condorcets Angels: Prisoner of Rape; Why E. T. Needs Women, Part 2. The final Mens Altered Wars Annual issue. Despite the lurid cover, this issue is rated PG-13 by the publisher. 32 pages, B&W. Mature readers.
