Caligula (2011) #1A$2.65
Regular Cover by Jacen Burrows. Written by David Lapham. Art by German Nobile. In an age of depravity, one man's appetites horrified the entire Roman Empire. The very Empire he ruled. Some stories are passed from one generation to the next only in secret. Told in hushed whispers as the very words are too horrific to speak aloud for fear they offend the Gods. A Roman Empire built on the blood of its people, a ruler who began as a generous man but who ended as the most debased of monarchs. One name still speaks volumes of how absolute power can corrupt: Caligula. David Lapham unveils a new tale of Caligula -- he was not just a man drunk on power, he was possessed. A modern master of horror, Lapham digs deep into the world of Rome 37 AD and offers a unique epic of horror. Joined by new talent German Nobile, who promises to serve up fully-painted pages dripping with blood, this all-new, full-color series will be six issues of evil that will make any Crossed fan smile with glee. For in the age of Caligula, all roads lead to Hell. 32 pages, full color. Mature Readers 18+ Cover price $3.99.

Regular Cover by Jacen Burrows. Written by David Lapham. Art by German Nobile. David Lapham unveils a new tale of ancient Rome and the most feared emperor of all time. The one name that still speaks volumes of how absolute power can corrupt: Caligula. After his assassination attempt goes horribly and horrifyingly wrong, young Junius finds himself taken in by Caligula, who renames him Felix, meaning "lucky one," and becomes the Emperor's pet, confidant, whipping boy, lover, apprentice and biographer. Caligula lavishes money and women on Felix one minute, then beats him the next. Felix must play along if he's to find out the secret behind Caligula's mysterious supernatural power over life and death. Virgin blood ceremonies, gladiator fights rigged for added brutality, and dinner parties where guests are randomly slaughtered -- is there any limit to Caligula's depravity? Can Felix keep his focus and sanity in the face of so much misery and horror? 32 pages, full color. Mature Readers 18+ Cover price $3.99.

1st printing. Written by Joe Gentile. Art by Phil Rittenhouse, Dave Ulanski, Leo Hickman, Bill Halliar and Joe Gentile. Cambion was once a happy musician with a pet bunny and a hit single. Things kind of got sucky after that. His girl left him under cruel and unfaithful circumstances, and Cam kind of had a hard time coping. The band suffered, and finally stopped playing. Cam checked into a mental health facility, and was abused by Doctor Mary, although we are unsure of the extent. Upon being released, he could manage to speak only in song lyrics. He was befriended (?) by Brandy, when he destroyed her unhealthy relationship. She has gone from friend to traitor. He is currently being pursued by Jim-the-Cop for some crimes he committed, and others he didn't. 24 Pages, B&W. Cover price $2.95.
