The comic story is partially colored with numerous incomplete B&W areas to be colored in by the reader and also includes a puzzle section. Full set is shrinkwrapped and approximately 8 1/2" x 14 3/4". Contents vary in size; comic is 6 1/2" x 10 1/8", partial color/b&w.

    1996 Promotional Comic Book featuring X-Men (cover is sub-titled Rise of the Phoenix). Not numbered, no cover price, no indicia. It was originally sold and distributed inside a 1996 Marvel Comics Activity Set that also included other items such as a Spidey glow-in-the-dark ring, action stickers, poster, etc. The Interactive Comic Book was described on the packaging and on the inside front cover as "A Special Edition Spider-Man Comic Book To Color Along With The Pros". (No, that is not a typo. The packaging said Spider-Man. While each Activity Set contained only one individual interactive comic, 2 different Spider-Man comics and an X-Men comic could be found inside). The story is partially colored with numerous incomplete b&w areas to be colored in by the reader. The story is a reprint from X-Men Adventures series. After the story, there is a ten page puzzle section. 6 1/2" x 10 1/8", partial color/b&w, 36 pages.
