This issue is based on Walk East on Beacon, a 1952 spy drama/ film noir starring George Murphy, Finlay Currie and Virginia Gilmore. A federal agent investigating a Soviet spy ring discovers that they are blackmailing a scientist who is working on a top-secret space program. The film, in turn, is based on a magazine article by J. Movie Mystique is aimed at the male genre movie fan and will feature hot photos (although PG13-rated for a young teen audience) and short snappy articles on the beautiful women in current horror, fantasy and sci-fi films, and DVDs. Although targeted for the male audience, the articles will also interest female film fans, something other mags of this type are unable to accomplish.
