The name of the character and the comic unofficially changes to Montana Kid in these issues. The Kid finds himself the object of a manhunt. Old man Potter warns the Kid that Mace Emery wants to use Potter's shack as a hideout after their latest job, but the sheriff doesn't believe him until it's too late. Plus one-pagers about life in the Old West, including one about schoolteachers featuring early art by future Marvel legend Don Perlin.
