Blackthorne's Comic Strip Preserves presents the 1960s comic strip featuring the Special Forces soldiers known as the Green Berets, who were enjoying pop-culture notoriety at the time. This issue reprints the strips from Oct. 16, 1966 - Apr. 4, 1967. The Green Berets aid the Peace Corps in constructing a bridge in a small Central American country, but communist revolutionaries are dogging their efforts. Featuring stories by Robin Moore (author of The French Connection) and art by Sgt. Rock creator Joe Kubert. 72 pages, B&W. Cover price $5.95.
