I collected comics as a teenager in the 90's and was very careful with them. Loved Dark Horse comics and those were the ones I mostly read. Many purchases I made were items I thought had collectable value, like this one, so I bought it, bagged it and never even read it. Hi Buddy and mycomicshop.com staff, I have graded as accurately as I could, and, as in past transactions, I expect some books to be considered in different conditions than I have assigned to them. But, in general, I think I got most everything right, and I'm only selling at this time after careful consideration and because I need the money. But, at least as far as the transaction goes on your end, there are quite a few key issues included. Having dealt with mycomicshop before, I have confidence that if I have misgraded an item (whether it is in my favor or yours) you will be fair, just as you have been in my past experiences with you. I just wanted to send you some positive feedback regarding your system for buying comics from customers. After logging a number of books in the previous days, I sent in a shipment of old and new books a couple weeks ago. Firstly, I think your system for logging comics is great and easy to use. The recommended grades are great, too, though in my case I don't really need them. After sending the shipment in and it was reviewed, I think there were a half dozen books we disagreed on as far as grades go, but the discrepancy was only half a grade or so and pretty miniscule as far as I'm concerned. I think you've got a couple of things that any competitors might find hard to match: 1.) Your communication as far as what a customer needs to do is top-notch and easy to follow. It's pretty tough to not know what you have to do next or what step in the process your order is currently sitting in. 2.) Your customer service is fantastic as far as going the extra mile to answer questions and communicate with the customer. I just wanted to forward this to you because working in the Internet Customer Service/Software business myself, I know sometimes you hear the ass-end of the deal more often than not, regardless of the good job you may be doing overall. I've just submitted a couple more invoices for shipments to you guys and imagine I will continue to do so in the future. Thanks much, man!
