Your want list is quite extensive, and the pricing is quite obviously based on the market for any specific book I'm looking to sell. Dear Mr. Saunders, I am SFC Castro in the U.S. Army serving my latest tour overseas in Afghanistan. As I was walking about the motorpool, I received a message from Staff Sergeant Benjamin. He stated that the Chaplain wanted to see me at the chapel. Once there, the Chaplain showed me a box of comics. The Chaplin knew that SSG Yelle were comic fans. I’ve been collecting comics since 2002, immediately after the release of the first Spider-Man movie. It had been years since I collected prior to that time. The Chaplain knew how much I loved comics. There have been many occasions when I speak to my Battle Buddies about comics. They have seen that I watch the JLA animated series, GL First Flight, and I have Batman and Spidey poster, too. Before I came out on this deployment we went to the Mojave desert of California and trained for a month. Two weeks of those they teased me about my comics. But you know what? As any true geek would do, I developed the master plan to educate them. Oh, I spoke hours and days about the current cycle of Marvel universe—the Civil War, the death of CPT America, then Spidey's marriage dissolving due to Mephesto, the 52 weeks of DC comics, The 52 Earths and all the variations of Heroes, the JSA and GLA, Hal Jordan coming back from no longer being dead or being the spirit of vengeance, etc. I carried those thick Previews out there to spark interest. Now you know it is neat how the Lord works in mysterious ways. I was stationed in Alaska from 2002 through the end of 2003. Well I lived there in the city up North called Fairbanks. Well, there was a comics shop out there. They had the current stuff and some older stuff, too. Well, since I had not collected since I was a child I would go on-line and place orders with Lone Star Comics. Your company provided a huge selection of my childhood dreams. Thanks to you for your time invested in search of the Holy Grail and for your love of comics. Your selection helped my find a lot of the Fantastic Four, a title my parents originally introduced me to. Your generous and kindness in donating these comics to be sent here makes the full circle of how the world is united as the Kevin Bacon the Kevin Bacon theory in implemented, lol. Thank you very much, and know that the remainder of the comics have gone to the new USO building and the Wounded Warriors, both Marines and Soldiers. May the Lord Bless you.
