If you’re looking to purchase, or sell, comic books online, look no further than MyComicShop.com. Forget sellers on eBay, or other venues, who are probably charging inflated prices, and who might have multiple copies of a particular issue, but display only a photograph of the best copy they’ve got. If it’s old comics you’re looking for, their prices are extremely reasonable, and their grading of comic books is impeccable. If you’ve got a stash of comics you want to sell, they have an online “Want List” of comic books they’re interested in purchasing; and they go out their way to determine whether what you have is what they’re looking for, and whether they can offer you a fair price for them. They will e-mail or call you personally to try to work out the transaction. If you’re looking to buy, their inventory is so vast, I doubt there’s something in there I might want that they don’t have – or maybe could help me find.

Buddy, I decided about a year ago to sell the collection I had amassed since my youth. This, of course, was a decision that was made with some trepidation. Having been a record dealer for almost 40 years, I knew the ins and outs of trying to sell collections.Because of this, I contacted 3 different “reputable” dealers and told them the situation.
I was looking for three different blind bids and barring some kind of absurd offers, the top bid would get the collection. Every dealer knew this from the outset. I caught the first dealer trying to put my X-Men #1 in his man-bag so that guy was escorted from the building. The second guy creeped me out more than the first. He went through all 11,000 comics twice in 45 minutes, asked me if I was impressed with how fast he was able to go through that many comics, and then asked to just buy the high-end books. When this didn’t work, he called his boss “to get me the best offer right now so we could just end negotiations”. He then came in with a low-ball offer that was never going to fly.
The final person to look at the collection was Phil Harding (for your company). Phil spent about 8 hours going through everything, using your software and if he was stumped, calling your people to get clarification. He offered me various options as to how I could handle things and, as you know, we landed on cash for the bulk of the collection and consignment for 20 of the rarer books. Phil returned the following week with a cashier's check, truck and his trusty LDS sidekick, David, and were loaded up and gone in a couple of hours.
I gotta say, the reason the whole thing went forward was Phil. He just came off as a sweet, honest guy who loved comics. You wouldn’t think that would matter when you’re essentially jumping off a train you’ve been on your entire life, but somehow it did. He was incredibly prescient and thorough about what was going to happen and why. I was able to know what was going on with the books at all times. So, no, as I’m sure you’re aware, not all comic dealers are the same. And comic people make as strange a bedfellow as record people, so you wouldn’t think any of the process would be considered “pleasant,” but my dealing with your company couldn’t be described as anything else. That’s it. Rant over. Feel free to use any or no part of this in a testimonial as you see fit.

I wanted to let you know that I was very happy to see Anomaly HC in stock, with artwork that comes to life with a UAR app. and even happier to get the best packing and shipping ever!! I requested Priority USPS mail, and the book was sealed with a plastic bag, taped, and in a good-size box with white packing balls and labeled FRAGILE. The quality packing kept the book safe, dry, and dent-free! It was delivered on Monday, August 5, during Hurricane Debby, through heavy rain and high winds. The outer box had some light raindrops on it, but not much, and I am grateful to the USPS driver who handled it with care during the hurricane.
I'm so glad that MyComicShop doesn't sacrifice quality over quantity, as Customer Service took time to contact me about a comment I made to be sure everything was correct. Everything worked out great! MyComicShop's team is the best of the best, and so is the great quality of the comics with the best prices and discounts!! I found a gem in the dollar bin sale: Shifter HC, Anomaly, 224 pages!! I can't believe there are still 2 HC in stock, near mint, at only $7.
