I had ordered these comics back in early January, expecting them to arrive in a reasonable shipping time (customs included). When they had not arrived by March, I wrote a concerned email questioning the status of my order. Your customer service was very receptive, sending me a second shipment to replace the first one I thought lost. However, a few days before it arrived, I had discovered my first shipment had not been lost at all, but had been signed for by a neighbor, who had forgotten to tell me of the package. I am returning the (unopened) second shipment to you. I also must thank you. As I have said, your customer service was friendly and tremendously helpful, writing back to me the same day as I sent my email. I have purchased comics from you before, and this experience convinces me more than ever of your reliability and professionalism.

I think one out of my two experiences with another giant mail order place was really horrible and assured I'd never use them again. I've heard the same from other customers, but at MyComicShop, I've had a handful of tiny mistakes out of hundreds of orders. Hello. A while back, I e-mailed you guys about a mistake made in one of my orders, and I was a little harsh with the e-mail I sent. Nonetheless, you responded right away, and I received a replacement issue of one of the expensive comics I ordered, no questions asked. Quite frankly, you guys are the best comic shop on the Internet, and I've felt bad about getting mad ever since it happened. I always order from you guys, and the one time you made a mistake, I got angry. I apologize for that because there is nobody better on the net than you guys! In the past, I have bought from both you and your competitor, and it seems that your competitor screws up on my orders one out of two times, and just recently, I e-mailed them about some of the mistakes they made (and I was pretty nice about it), and in return, I received a very rude e-mail.
Since then, I e-mailed them and told them to take me off any of their lists, and I would never do business with them again. After that, it seemed as if a few e-mails came my way asking what they could do to make it up to me, and the best response would be, "Go away because you guys are nowhere near as cool as Mycomicshop/Lonestar Comics!" So in conclusion, I'll finally wrap things up by saying sorry again for the one time I was upset, and thank you for being the best place on the web to buy comics from! YOU GUYS RULE!

Sorry to admit it, but I'm no longer a comic book fan, though I was an avid reader back in the 60's. Fortunately for me, when I went off to college and the service, my mom didn't throw out my comics. After contacting a few comic book dealers in my area (St. Louis), I was disappointed in the offers for my comics. As a result I started surfing various internet sites and decided from the customer feedback that mycomics.com looked the most promising. Lone Star still offered over double what I thought they were worth. I talked to a representative on the phone (no waiting!). He was very friendly, honest, and professional. Buddy, When I decided to sell my comic collection, my wife and I spent a lot of time browsing the web to find sites that buy comic books. There are a lot of them out there, but we finally decided to go with yours because it looked so professional, and seemed really upfront about everything. We even took your advice and asked around at local comics shops first, to get an idea of what the books were worth. From the ho-hum responses (and of course they wanted to pick them over instead of taking the whole collection), we decided to send them on down to you. Boy are we glad we did! I wasn't home when you called, so when my wife told me just now that you had made an offer for my comics collection, I was prepared for the worst (I'm a real pessimist). You could have knocked me over with a feather when she told me that your offer beat my best guess by about three times! I wholeheartedly endorse webuycomics.com as the way to go if you are looking for an efficient way to sell your comic collection for a great price. I had about 1000 comics from the 60's which I wanted to sell. I wasted a LOT of time with your competitor trying to do something myself and then saw Buddy's buy/trade cart concept and felt it was the way to go. Just to be sure, I took a stack of comics and ran them through his cart system and approximated what they would be worth to him. I then took the same comics to a dealer in New York which is close to me. After looking through them, he offered me less(and with the attitude that he was doing me a favor). I sent the same comics to Buddy and got three times his offer, the first of several sales I made to mycomicshop.com. The payments are sent super-fast and it is just a pleasure doing business with this outfit. I have received more than I had even hoped for when I was planning on doing the grunt work! Buddy is definitely the way to go.

I have visited three of your stores (Dallas, Irving, Plano) and used your website for orders and trades. You definitely know what you?re doing. The people working at the stores are always super nice and helpful no matter how busy they are. Of course Dallas is my primary store and Joe and Brian are great. One of the best parts of buying comics is going to the Dallas store each week. Every website order I have completed (and that?s a bunch!) has been completed quickly and accurately and the quality of the comics are always great. The website is easy to use and well organized. And now that I have completed a couple of trades, I have come full circle with my comic books. The trades have been easy with excellent communication. You?re doing a great job with a great business. I feel lucky that there is a retailer like Lone Star in the Dallas area. I?m not sure if I would be spending as much on comics as I have if you weren?t here in the area.
