  • Issue #1-1ST
    Mere GN (2013 Picturebo) 1-1ST

1st printing. By C.F. In 2012, Providence-based artist and musician C.F. began to produce a series of more than a dozen mini-comics, which he distributed via Twitter. Each mini-comic offered a take on, and expansion upon, a classic comic strip genre-from crime and sci-fi to punk and sex-all of them infused throughout by C.F.'s absurdist humor and loose improvisatory drawing. Less than 50 copies of each mini-comic were printed; needless to say, they sold out instantly. Collected here for the first time, they constitute a kind of bravura display of C.F.'s dexterity with pen and ink. Softcover, 5-in. x 8 1/2-in., 180 pages, PC/PB&W Cover price $19.95.

Octopus Pie TPB (2016-2017 Image) 2-1ST

    Volume 2 - 1st printing.

Story and art by Meredith Gran.

The Brooklyn stories of love, madness, nostalgia, and displeasing music continue in this second OCTOPUS PIE collection. Eve and Hanna have each other's backs as they navigate the emotional pitfalls of twenty-something life, but there's chaos and confusion to spare.

    Softcover (Horizontal), 9-in. x 6 1/2-in., 184 pages, B&W.

NOTE: "It's hard to say where the strength of OCTOPUS PIE really is because Meredith can juggle so many things so well-the humor, the natural touch in the dialogue, the relatability of the characters in the world that she has created. There is a complex, empathetic sort of quality to that world and you feel rather at home in it." - Kate Beaton, Hark!
