Listed below are the shipping options for preorder shipments in the United States. Select the state you'll be shipping to to see rates for your state.

Each time we box up your newly arrived preorders to ship to you, your shipping cost will be charged based on the weight of the shipment.

With bag and board, most modern era comics can be shipped at about 5 comics per pound, although weights can vary based on paper stock used and number of pages. Most graphic novels and trade paperbacks weigh about 0.5 to 1.5 lbs, with a small number weighing 2 lbs or more. Most non-oversized hardcover books weigh 1 to 3 lbs. The box itself plus packing materials typically add around 0.5 to 1.0 lbs to the weight for small shipments, and around 1.0 to 2.0 lbs for large shipments.

If the products we are shipping to you weigh more than that, they will be packaged in multiple boxes and each box charged individually. Your total shipping cost will still be lower when receiving multiple boxes shipped via Economy than receiving one larger and heavier box shipped via UPS Ground.

In the event that a single item weighs more than 15 lbs by itself, such as a hardcover boxed set, it will need to ship via UPS Ground.

** Note 2: For packages 10 lbs or more, UPS Ground is cheaper than Surepost and also faster, so any Surepost package 10 lbs or more will ship via UPS Ground.

Oversize items: oversize items requiring a shipping box larger than 1 cubic foot in volume may be charged by UPS or USPS based on the size of the box rather than the weight of the box. It is rare that anything offered for preorder would be this large, but if you have an oversize item your shipping cost will reflect the UPS or USPS shipping charge.
