Veronica agrees to help Betty chaperon her Junior Nature Rangers on a woodland hike and the pack of mischievous ten year old girls make her the target of all their pranks. After overturning their canoe in the river, Betty and Veronica take off their clothes and dry them in the sun, hoping the deserted woods will shield their modesty. Veronica follows Betty, Midge and Ethel in disguise as they shop for back-to-school outfits, in order to gauge the competition and emerge as the trendsetter once again.
