Blondie in Home-Made Laughs! Stories, art and cover by Chic Young, plus an introduction by Clark Kinnaird. Pioneering comics publisher David McKay's Feature Book was the first US comic book to devote complete issues to a single character. This issue reprinted Blondie Sunday strips from 1942. The foibles of an ex-flapper who finds domestic bliss with her everyman husband became one of the longest-running comic strips of the 20th century, spawning a series of movies and even a sandwich shop. As if Dagwood's home life wasn't chaotic enough, his boss Mr. Dithers is a mean-tempered tyrant. 48 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
