New lead character Bobby Bantam is a rooster, similar to Battling Bantam of issues #48-53, and Hoppy the Bunny remains; otherwise, the new roster is completely different from the early issues of Funny Animals. Someone leaves an orphan chick on Bobby Bantam's doorstep, and his long rivalry with mischievous "nephew" Beep is begun. Kenny Kangaroo learns that a free motorcycle is not always a bargain.
