While printed in Italy with an Italian translation of the title on the cover, the rest of the book is in English. Horizontal format, 15.5" x 12.5", 56 pages, full color.

Flash Gordon on the Planet Mongo. Stories, art and cover by Alex Raymond. Pioneering comics publisher David McKay's Feature Book was the first US comic book to devote complete issues to a single character. This issue reprints Flash Gordon newspaper comic strips from May 27 to December 14, 1940. Gathering forces from the various alien races of Mongo in his bid to overthrow Ming the Merciless, Flash and Dale meet the Power Men of Mongo. This is the final Feature Book in this format; future issues would be roughly the size of standard comic books to follow. 9-in. x 12-in., 72 pages, B&W.
