    Indicia title is "SMITTY, No. 32." Several untitled Smitty stories, scripts and art by Walter Berndt. Smitty gets his friend Stanley a job at Mr. Bailey's company. Stanley, the new boy, gets Smitty demoted from his job as office boy, so he can take it. Smitty schemes to get Stanley in trouble so he can get his old job back. Stanley's plot to take Smitty's job is revealed when the public address system is accidentally switched on. George, the Indian guide from the North Woods, comes to the city and gets a job as caretaker of Mr. Bailey's new home at the top of a 36-story building. George's donkey has a baby and George takes a train back to the North Woods. Smitty is found by two Indians and is taken to their camp. Smitty falls into the daily routine at the Indian camp. Smitty and his Indian friend find a bear cub in the woods and bring it back to the camp. Smitty saves the bear cub when he finds a dead wolf under a bush. Reprinted from Smitty (Chicago Tribune-N.Y.
