Judy Canova was an American comedian and radio star with a country-bumpkin persona, at the peak of her popularity when this comic came out. Judy's Dogpatch-style relatives try to help her get over a toothache; Pedro (played by Mel Blanc on the radio show) gets a typewriter and decides to pursue a career as a writer, maybe even for comic books; The Canova clan tries to clean up the house before their city cousins come to visit.
