Eve thinks she and Jimmy are too young to think about marriage before high-school graduation, but Jimmy disagrees, in a story that shows the Charlton influence, for better or worse. Shy Jack struggles to let Merry know how he feels about her. Sally finds handsome boy-next-door John boring, and dates loser Eddie instead, but a storm at sea shows her which one she can depend on. A comics version of the classic love-and-loss poem by Edgar Allan Poe, "Annabel Lee."
