Terry and the Pirates was a comic strip developed by cartoonist Milton Caniff, also the creator of Steve Canyon, in 1934 for the New York Daily News. This volume features Pat Ryan is captured by a mysterious masked man and his gang and tossed into a dungeon. Reprints the strips from 1937. Softcover 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 64 pages, B&W. ACG collects the new (1995) version of Milton Caniffs classic comic strip. Batman writer (and film producer) Uslan provides the stories, while the art is by fantasy legends the Hildebrandt Brothers. This version takes place in modern times, and Pat Ryans kid sidekick Terry is now a young man, but adventure, exotic locations and beautiful women are still the order of the day.
